Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor with proven experience supervising large infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day or night shift operations for the project and have a number of leading hands reporting to you.

Main Responsibilities

Lead by example and ensure strong safety culture
Proactive management of safety performance, identification of risk and ensure safe work practices are adopted and supported
Understanding of project impact to surrounding community and stakeholders
Pre-Starts / Toolbox talks
Ensure that compliance with work methodology is upheld
Ensure permits are compliant with the project WHS system
Subcontractor management

Skills & Experience

Knowledge of concrete remedial works, bridges and structural works
Demonstrated prior experience in a Team Leader/Supervisor/ Site Manager/ Foreman role
Management and coordination of subcontractors
Strong attitude towards safety
Traffic management experience
5+ years’ supervisory experience
Reading, interpreting and correctly executing project specifications
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Excellent troubleshooting / problem solving skills

Main works being undertaken include:
Concrete repairs
Steel repairs
Precast concrete works
Road closure management
Concrete and Steel Structures
Temporary works
