Our client is a leading national food manufacturing, With sites across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. They're looking for an experienced Maintenance fitter with a background in the food manufacturing industry to join their Night Shift team.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose faults and carry out modifications to equipment
• Service and repair of Mechanical plant and equipment within the facility
• Carry out preventative maintenance
• Point of contact when attending a breakdown during shift
• Assist in maintaining spare parts store to desired level;
• Diagnose faults and carry out modifications to equipment

Profile

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Mechanical trade certificate
• Previous experience with food manufacturing equipment or industrial food production
• High level of technical and diagnostic skills including fault finding and problem solving
• Processed based risk assessment skills
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
