How will I Help?

This Junior Dealer role will be part of Westpac’s Institutional Bank (WIB) and sit within the Financial Markets business. The Product, Balance Sheet and Structuring team is a highly specialised team that develop and manage financial markets products, provide pricing execution and structuring expertise for interest rate, investment and FX options and provide balance sheet management for all WIB term deposit products.

You will be responsible for pricing and execution of Interest Rate, Investment and FX Option products. It will also support the product manufacture and maintenance functions, including development and management of collateral and involves supporting both the key sales partners in B&C and WIB, the other group Product areas and various Operational teams.

Other supporting functions may include balance sheet management, product support (including portfolio analytics) and structuring of investment and FX products.

What do I need?

To Be Successful You Will Have The Following
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Finance, Mathematics or related discipline
  • Graduate with up to 3 years experience
  • Financial Markets experience (desirable)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Access
  • VBA skills highly desirable. Knowledge of SQL
  • Passion for Financial Markets
