About the Role

Premier People are currently seeking Electricians for Area C Shut down from the 11/04/2021 - 20/04/2021

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must be prepared to complete a pre-employment medical check and a drugs and alcohol test. Successful applicants must have rights to work in Australia and hold the following:

Key responsibilities include:

• Fixed plant electrical maintenance
• Maintenance of crushers, conveyors, paste tanks, caustic tanks, motors, screens, generators, grizzlies, ball mill, general light and power
• Carrying out all fixed plant maintenance including, preventative maintenance and breakdowns and repairs
• Installation of electrical components, changing and upgrading cable trays
• Performing isolations of plant and equipment
• Identify faults, hazards, follow, understand and construct risk assessments

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must be prepared to complete a pre-employment medical check and a drugs and alcohol test. Successful applicants must have rights to work in Australia and hold the following:

Compulsory

• Valid WA Driver’s License
• Working at Heights (RIIWHS204D)
• Working in Confined Spaces (RIIWHS202D)
• Gas Testing Atmospheres (MSAPHOS217A)

Preferred

• Willing to work in TA roles if and when required
• Previous experience working within the mining industry

Job Type: Casual

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift

Work Eligibility:

• Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)
