West Orange Motors are currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their Service Department.

Applicants to Demonstrate the following:

• Workmanship to a high standard
• Ensure attention to detail is maintained
• Ability to follow instructions
• Report and work closely with the Service Manager

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proficient in removing, repairing, adjusting overhauling assembling, disassembling, replacing Major/Sub- assemblies, components and parts
• Sound knowledge of systems such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel systems, emission brakes, steering and hydraulics
• Ability to complete machine shop operations, being adjustments and alignments, including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units
• Diagnosis skills
• Ability to process paperwork and ensure accurate record keeping
• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology/ Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant
• Ideally have a minimum of 4 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic

Salary range is $50,000 -$60,000 commensurate with experience
