GMHS I POSITION DESCRIPTION Crew Member - Civil

Key Accountabilities

• To successfully implement and deliver various civil construction and maintenance activities and tasks in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

• Operation and maintenance of tools and equipment in accordance with Safe Operating Procedures to deliver outcomes and standards for tasks and activities, including quality, environmental and safety requirements.

• Demonstrate leadership and provide support to maintain own and team members physical and psychological wellbeing and safety.

• Apply dynamic situational awareness for ongoing risk identification, control effectiveness and implementation.

• Be adaptable, flexible and actively contribute to an environment that values teamwork, honesty, respect and open minds in the delivery of our services and through interactions with others including team members, clients and stakeholders.

• Be able to work across disciplines (Civil, Building, NRM) in the field as required and in adaptable crew structures depending on works program.

• Actively participate in site preparation, mobilisation and demobilisation, loading and delivering of materials and equipment.

• Ensure ongoing plant, equipment and vehicle maintenance and upkeep, timely reporting and recording of tagged out equipment.

• Ensure SWMS, I Audit creation, review and action is undertaken and implemented

• Timely and complete I Audit records and job delivery status updates.

• Sound communication skills, timely and professional deliver of our services, positive client feedback

• Professional presentation portrayed including uniform, vehicles and PPE

• Ensure data and records completed daily including timesheet tracking.

• Manage client, community and public interface and relationship in the field and escalate matters for resolution as required.

• Proactive communication on project and activity/task status to supervisor for achievement of outcomes.

• Provide ongoing acknowledgment and recognition of effort to other team members as appropriate

• Actively develop skills levels and techniques, participation in tool/material selection

• Apply technical field expertise, knowledge and skills to learn and improve outcomes for individuals and team members
