Australian Container Unloading Group is one of the largest privately owned and national shipping container unpacking services providing services to various warehousing and transport sites. 

We are currently seeking shipping container unpack crews (**labourers and forklift drivers**) for on-going work. Locations are based all over Perth and your own transport is essential. 

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Manually unload product from shipping containers onto pallets
• Repetitive lifting of loads (up to 25kg) 
• Use of shrink wrap to manually wrap palletised goods
• Working productively to strict time frames 
• Obeying strict safety rules in warehouse environments

Forklift operators will be required to also: 

• Safely operate forklifts to unload palletised goods using container ramps
• Use forklifts to attach container ramp to shipping containers
• Operate slipsheet attachment

Successful candidates will possess the following:

• Current Drivers licence and own reliable transportation (absolutely essential!)
• Mobile phone (absolutely essential!)
• Previous experience in shipping container unloading / labouring (essential) 
• Current High Risk forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Possess steel cap boots and hi vis clothing
• Manual handling skills and experience
• Proven track record for reliability and dependability
• Ability to work safely in a fast paced environment around machinery
• Can do attitude and sense of initiative 

***Please note this work is paid on a PIECE RATE per container basis- and only people who possess a sense of urgency and are physically capable to undertake repetitive manual labour need apply.
