Sales Representative / Workshop Manager Position

MultiShade / MultiCraft Engineering is a family-owned business based in Capalaba, Queensland and has been providing Shade Sails and Metal Fabrication for over 30 years. We are seeking a full time Sales Representative/Warehouse Manager to Quote, Sell, and install shade structures, as required and willing to assist with installation of jobs around Australia. The Metal fabrication warehouse will be a part of this job to maintain a process from sales, production, fabrication, and installation.

We require a person who has good attention to detail, able to read and understand engineering drawings, liaise with customers on site, work at heights, work independently and be able to work in a team. Selling to our existing customers and contacting new customers. Creating Job Cards, working with the Fabrication Team and the Seamstress to fulfill all customer or wholesale orders.

Working days are Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm.

General and Task Management

Develop relationships with customers whilst receiving and processing orders.
Understand and interpret specific customer requirements - liaise collaboratively with our customers to achieve the best/result for our customers.
Prepare and process quotes for customer, you will be required to go out to meet with customers on site.
Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified, cost, quality, and delivery
Support the purchasing functions and communicate any supply problems which may impact on client’s operations.
Act as an interface between clients, suppliers on purchasing processes and activities.
Build, maintain and manage client and supplier relationships, keeping up good communications.
Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all client and supplier relationships.
Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures.
Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
Adhere to any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff, and visitors.

Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively, openly and with a resolution-based mindset for our customers and our small team members.
Ability to read and understand drawings is advantageous.
Computer literacy.
Strong attention to detail with excellent time-management skills.
Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets.
Commercial and financial awareness
Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
Shows openness and honesty in all dealings.
Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
Knowledge in Steel and Shade Sail experience would be advantageous however, motivated individuals with an infectious attitude and the will to succeed will be welcomed!
