Forklift & Access Mechanic - Field Service, $35 - $38 + Vehicle + Phone, Wetherill Park
Your new company
Our client is a leading forklift, access and port equipment specialist across Australia. They provide Sydney's construction and transport industry with both new and used machinery for hire. They have a dedicated service department that is looking for a new mechanic to join the team.
Your new role
As a forklift technician you will be based on-site workshops where you will be responsible for servicing and repairing of customers equipment.
- Breakdown cover on customer equipment
- Split of service and repairs of customer machines
- Work on huge variety of machinery
- Organising of parts and inventory
- Take home vehicle
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold an Australian qualification as a mechanic and ideally have experience working on a variety of different machinery including forklifts and access equipment. Additionally you need the below:
- Experience working on machinery ranging from 5T - 50T
- Understanding of hydraulics, electrical drawings and mechanical faults
- Ability to fault find and work autonomously
What you'll get in return
