Local Bus company are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager for their S/E Suburbs location. $100k -$110k

My client is a growing transit business in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, who are currently in the process of expanding their reach and influence in the Bus transport industry, having contracts with Government as well as private business. Currently streamlining and growing their business to a more stable model to bring it in line with their vision, they are focused on finding the right fit within their culture, and are happy to offer that extra salary for the right candidate
Your new role
• Oversee day-to-day running of workshop
• Liaise between Mechanics and sales team to effectively manage incoming jobs
• Manage the workshop effectively, allowing the organisation to grow within the market
• Manage and deliver on scheduled roles within timeframes.
• Providing prioritised support across all maintenance requirements
What you'll need to succeed
• Diesel Mechanic background is preferred
• Strong scheduling background, to work in with new maintenance system
• Ability to manage multiple issues or problems on the job
• Strong communication skills to manage and run a team of techs
• Experience in customer service
