Hays are thrilled to work alongside an industry leader with 25+ years experience in the manufacturing and installation of structural steel. With many successful multi million dollar projects successfully completed with top tier 1 builders including Lendlease, Multiplex, Mirvac & Pro build, my client is looking for talented boilermaker/riggers with experience installing structural steel in a commercial environment to join their team.

Your new role
Join a team of highly-skilled boilermaker\/riggers working on projects including apartments, hospitals, prisons, arts centers and so much more. You will have the opportunity to work with advanced plasma cutting equipment installing structural steel using your stick welding experience.

What you'll need to succeed

• Certificate 3 or 4 in engineering fabrication
• Riggers ticket
• Minimum 3 years commercial experience installing structural steel
• Exceptional ability to read and interpret shop drawing/plans
• Confident ability to complete site set outs
• Experience marking and setting out structural steel jobs
• Must be able provide welder, grinder, rattle gun & basic hand tools - All consumables supplied
