Are you a Project Manager with 4-5 years in the Construction industry, wanting to develop Superintendence skills?
This unique opportunity is for a project manager with 5 years in the construction industry, to further develop their project management skills and build on Superintendent skills and knowledge in their role.
- 4-5 years experience in Civil or Commercial Construction
- Must have relevant construction or engineering qualifications
- Project Management certification
Successful Projects is a project management firm specialising in Project Management, Superintendence, Detailed Project Planning & Scheduling, Rigorous Project Execution and Claims Preparation and Assessments. We implement a streamlined project management system, providing the structure, controls and approvals process to ensure project success.
We are seeking a Client Side Project Manager with Civil or Commercial Construction experience, who has excellent communication skills and demonstrable experience from feasibility stage to delivery stage of the project. Someone who is a team player, willing to work alongside the existing team and reports to the senior project manager.
As part of our team, you will enhance your project management skills and learn the role of Superintendent and develop skills to administer the contract and ensure the contractual obligations are performed. We have developed systems and processes to assist in the planning, delivery, execution and close out of the projects
To be successful in this role, you must have good business acumen, and take a whole of project perspective to plan and manage projects; to improve transparency and accountability among stakeholders; control cost; and avoid, minimise, or resolve disputes during the project lifecycle.
Your role will be to assist the Client to successfully plan and deliver their projects.
- Assist with preparing project management plans
- Manage the design team for on time delivery of design documentation
- Manage client approvals
- Prepare procurement documentation
- Evaluate tenders and prepare recommendations
- Management to budget, schedule and quality
- Project team coordination and performance management
- Project evaluation and closeout
As Project Superintendent,
- Evaluate extension of time claims
- Review progress claims and certify progress
- Review and approve payment certificates
- Issue final certificates and more

Your requirements
- 4-5 yrs Civil or Construction experience
- Project Management certification (advantage)
- Knowledge of Project Management (PMBOK)
- Experience with scheduling software (advantage)
- Excellent Written Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
