Our Client is a family owned and operated Civil Contractor, based in Sydney's South-West, with a history if excellence in delivering projects in the $100k-$3m range.

Due to the sheer scale of work an experienced Construction Manager is now required to join on a permanent basis, they will be responsible for the following:

  • plan, organise and manage civil construction projects
  • manage the team of employees and subcontractors
  • planning, financial and budgeting aspects
  • manage and report on the program of works - ability to operate project tracking and management software highly regarded.
  • manage and anticipate project changes, adjusting plans and activities accordingly
  • oversee and monitor key milestones for project through regular project reviews and analysis of potential risks to ensure delivery of program objectives
  • ensure all project deliverables are of high quality prior to handover and meet legislative requirements
  • engage with internal and external stakeholders to align and agree program of work and anticipate changes that may impact program of work
  • manage performance, compliance and expectations of resources and ensure knowledge transfer within the team
  • influence estimating methodologies

To be successfull you should possess the following:

  • Sydney Water asset experience
  • Proficient in Project Management/tracking software
  • Strength in negotiation
  • Experience working on sewer/water infrastructure projects
