The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are seeking interest from Electricians – Fixed Plant, to service maintenance shutdown requirements, with fixed plant processing experience to join our Field Service Team for current opportunities. These roles will be working a shutdown type of roster on a 2 &1.

We have Crushing & Processing operations at our owner-operated mine sites spread throughout the Pilbara and Goldfields regions and crushing operations located at a number of Tier 1 client sites.

Duties and skills required will include:

  • Electrical installation of new equipment as required
  • Electrical maintenance of onsite equipment
  • Provide electrical maintenance and inspection services to ensure plant reliability of equipment to Australian standards
  • Instrument calibration and maintenance
  • Preventative maintenance on motors
  • Small capital project work involving commissioning

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • A Grade Electrician
  • Cert IV Electrical Instrumentation desirable
  • HV Switching desirable
  • Maintenance experience in a crushing & processing plant
  • Working knowledge of current regulations/Australian Standards relevant to a manufacturing environment and chemical industry would be ideal
  • An uncompromising attitude to safety
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Sound ability to work within a team and liaise at all levels
