The Team

Our Finance team operates within our national Capital Markets and Corporate line of business, and has a recognised market-leading practice, consistently rated in Chambers Global/Asia Pacific. The structured finance team is led by partners John Elias and James Mok who are recognised for their expertise in structured finance, securitisation, asset finance, acquisition finance and debt capital markets. The team regularly acts for domestic and international banks, financial institutions and major corporations.

Your Role

We are looking for a senior associate or associate, to join our dynamic team in Sydney working closely with partners and other team members.

More About You

We welcome applications from lawyers who have:

  • experience or interest in structured finance, securitisation, asset finance, acquisition finance and/or debt capital markets and general banking and finance
  • strong drafting and communication skills
  • ability to manage transactions and meet deadlines
  • ability to form enduring relationships with peers, clients and industry experts
  • a team player attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with other lawyers in the group
