Reporting to the Chief Civil/Structural Engineer, you will be required to provide Structural engineering expertise to the projects. You will ensure that all deliverables are completed in a timely manner to the required level of accuracy, the basis of design, and the terms of the contract. You will ensure that cost effective solutions are applied to meet project objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivery of technically acceptable engineering design services for approved work and ensure a high level of client satisfaction in order to meet Clough’s business needs.
  • Work with technical specialists to ensure specification compliance, technical integrity of design (technical performance).
  • Prepare and file design information including documents and data from suppliers and other disciplines.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and improvement of systems across the division.
  • Manage customer relations to achieve mutually satisfactory and technical program outcomes.
  • Liaise regularly with manager to report progress, areas of concern / issues and potential changes.
  • Be a proactive member of the team, prepared to work outside conventional boundaries in cooperation with other team members to ensure complete coverage of each work scope.

You should possess the following:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with contracting or consultancy organisations in one or more of the following sectors: Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals and Infrastructure / Utilities.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. BSc Eng).
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or willingness to obtain chartership in the near future.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team to deliver results.
