About the role:

We have an opportunity for an experienced Construction or Operations Manager to join our company to manage the New Installation & Modernisation operations for the QLD region. The successful candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong leadership, business management and communication skills.


As the successful candidate you will be responsible for driving consistent and reliable financial performance, business growth and manage labour costs whilst ensuring the delivery of all contracts on time and on budget. You will be involving in managing key customer relationships, with the ability to understand and act upon customer needs and managing a team of approximately 40. You will also be responsible for building and promoting safe behaviour and culture within your team.


To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role within the Lift, Construction, HVAC, Fire, Security or Electrical industries, managing and developing a business. You will ideally be degree qualified in an appropriate technical or business-related discipline or from a strong project management background.


In conjunction with these requirements, you will also possess:

  • Previous people management experience, particularly with unionised workforces
  • Demonstrated experience of achieving set goals and targets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal with demonstrated skills in customer management
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, environment and customer relationships
