ICE Maintain is a division of ICE Engineering & Construction Pty Ltd, a South Australian based Electrical and Instrumentation constructor that operates nationally.

ICE Maintain provides specialised industrial support services to the Renewable Industry, Wind and Solar Sectors.


ICE Maintain is seeking suitably experienced Advanced Riggers with Wind Tower Construction experience to join our team. 

For this role the Candidate will be able to undertake the following:

  • Ensure compliance with all necessary HSE regulations relating to the role and site
  • Liaise with on-site Clients and Supervisors in a professional manner
  • Assemble and construct WTG (preferably Goldwind)
  • Be willing to learn new skills and engineering solutions provided by the company
  • Be willing to travel across various Australian locations/states

Must have:

  • GWO training (preferred, not essential)
  • Tower Rescue or Vertical Rescue training
  • Current Working at Heights training completed within 2 years 
  • Current First Aid training completed within 3 years
  • Availability to start immediately
  • The ability to pass a full medical
  • National High Risk Ticket RA (Advanced Rigger)
  • OHS Construction Induction White Card
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • 2-3 years’ experience in construction of wind towers
  • Must be comfortable with working at heights of 100M or higher

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience working at heights and/or on Wind Farms is advantageous, but not essential
  • Hytorc experience beneficial
  • Candidates who are able to use their own initiative and have excellent self-management skills
  • A team player with the ability to lead when required
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • A “can do” attitude aligned to our culture and values
  • A commitment to working safely
  • Willingness to work away on 3 & 1 roster in various locations
