This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader to join our growing team. As the Associate Engineer you will be an integral member of our Leadership team and be responsible for winning and leading projects in both a work winning and project management capacity and providing support and guidance to a highly technical team. Day to day you will;

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients
  • Plan and manage mid-large scale projects. This will include coordinating the preparation of cost estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, client reports and monitoring project progress, project scheduling/resourcing, and meeting deadlines and budgets
  • Assisting in managing the work financially, technically and contractually
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to shape and grow your team

Whether it’s for high-end Office Buildings and other commercial developments, health and education projects, or mining and industrial infrastructure, at Calibre we offer structural engineering as a core capability. Our strategy moving forward is to continue to expand our footprint in larger Infrastructure and Commercial Projects with a focus on sustainable infrastructure and this role will be instrumental in achieving this.

As the successful applicant you will ideally have a minimum of 8 years' experience in commercial and mixed use structures and have demonstrated success in leading project teams and proven experience in developing new business. As a member of the Leadership team, you will effectively coach and mentor team members and inspire all team members to continually strengthen Calibre’s performance. You will also have demonstrated project management capabilities and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and key stakeholders.
