Nilsen (WA) Pty Ltd has an exciting opportunity for anexperienced Senior Electrician to join their team in Bibra Lake. This role will see you providing on site predictive and preventive testing to our clients using state of the art technologies such as Thermographic and Ultrasonic test equipment, in order to identifying, diagnosing and then rectifying faults on all forms of electrical systems and equipment. 

 Qualification

  • Unrestricted West Australia “A” grade Electrical License
  • Commercial and Industrial Experience
  • Extensive experience with preventative maintenance technology
  • Current Blue / White card
  • HV Switching Ticket Preferred
  • Full and Valid WA Driver’s Licence

Experience

  • Troubleshooting electrical systems issues by utilising proper tools and instruments as required
  • Effectively planning and adhering to maintenance schedules
  • Technically training other Certified TEGG Electricians/Technicians and trainees on a case-by-case basis
  • Ensuring field duties and responsibilities are carried out efficiently, while effectively managing and controlling equipment and costs
  • Providing support for any special projects as assigned by supervisor
  • Experience using test equipment and software
  • Assist in preparation of Technical Test plans and reports
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • A commitment to providing exceptional client and customer service
  • Willingness to travel and be away from home periodically
