Full Time Construction Project Manager


$90,000 p.a. (plus super plus car plus phone plus travel allowance)


Decotec is an Australian owned and operated concrete cutting and demolition business. Decotec is seeking a full-time Project Manager to work with our team in Sydney and surrounds, to support various customers as their trusted advisors in the concrete cutting, core drilling and demolition industry and realising their strategic objectives. Ultimately, we are seeking a candidate who shares our values and visions.


As a valued member of the Decotec team, you will be working closely with our management team to:

  • Identify and secure new concrete cutting and core drilling work.
  • Build long-term customer relationships, particularly in the construction industry, concrete cutting industry, demolition and core drilling industry.
  • Manage expectations of clients, management, and project stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Ability to work within a projects time frames and budgets.
  • Ability to lead a team and create and promote a great working environment.
  • Ability to produce progress reports and identify and report risks of delays and forecasted budget issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with clients and local authorities.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to submit plans to local authorities and organise inspections.
  • Overseeing subcontractors works, ensuring quality and progress.
  • Ability to coordinate labour resources, material and plant and equipment.
  • Ability to liaise and consult with engineers, trades and other workers as required.
  • Ability to negotiate with stakeholders involved in projects to ensure they are completed on time and within the allocated budget.
  • Ability to prepare tenders and quotes for clients.
  • Operating and implementing work programs for projects.
  • Adherence to legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost, and safety.


  • A bachelor’s degree level qualification or at least 5 years’ highly relevant employment experience in construction management, engineering, concrete cutting, demolition or similar.
  • Current White Card
  • Current NSW Driver Licence


  • Min. 2+ yrs. experience in the concrete cutting or demolition industry as a project manager or site project supervisor
  • Have extensive knowledge of demolition practices.
  • Have extensive experience and knowledge within the concrete cutting industry.
  • The ability to problem solves on complex and challenging specialised concrete cutting and demolition E.G deep cores, wire sawing and robotic demolition.
  • Good existing client customer relationships in the concrete cutting and demolition industry.
  • An emerging collaborative leader who seeks to work with the team, internally and externally.
  • An outstanding communicator who is comfortable to assist with business development supporting our company growth.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet time deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and quality.
  • Proactive, extremely motivated, and always seeking to improve.
