ICE Maintain is a division of ICE Engineering & Construction Pty Ltd, a South Australian based Electrical and Instrumentation constructor that operates nationally.

ICE Maintain provides specialised industrial support services to the Renewable Industry, Wind and Solar Sectors.

ICE Maintain is seeking suitably experienced & qualified Electrical Wind Technicians to join our team for an Electrical Completion project.

** This opportunity is open to Victorian based residents, or candidates prepared to relocate to Victoria for the duration of the project for a potential start in mid-August 2020.

Must have:

  • Current Working at Heights (must be within 2 years) 
  • Current First Aid (completed within 3 years)
  • Current CPR/LVR (within 12 months)
  • Current Tower Rescue (within 2 years)
  • Current Unrestricted VIC Electrical Licence, or be willing to get Mutual Recognition
  • Construction Induction White Card
  • Current Driver’s Licence (able to drive a manual vehicle)
  • 2-3 years’ experience in construction of wind towers
  • Own hand tools (a list can be provided if requested)
  • The ability to pass a full medical
  • Be available to mobilise mid-August 
  • Be a Victorian resident, or be prepared to relocate to Victoria for the duration of the project 

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience working on Wind Farms (preferably Goldwind WTG's)
  • Candidates who are able to use their own initiative and have excellent self-management skills
  • A team player with the ability to lead when required with “can do” attitude aligned to our culture and values
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written & a commitment to working safely

 What ICE Engineering can offer you:

  • 10 hour days depending on client requirements
  • Generally 4/1 Roster, 6 days work per week (more if required)
