This full-time trade qualified fitter/machinist role will be based from our Margate Processing site, a 20-minute drive from Hobart.

Working in conjunction with our Maintenance Manager and an outstanding team, the successful applicant will have a diverse and exciting range of duties and will suit a proactive, commercially minded and safety focused maintenance fitter who has experience with welding various materials. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be working with our amazing maintenance team, responding to breakdowns and ensuring our resources and equipment are running smoothly with limited down time with a positive and proactive attitude.

You

Qualified Maintenance Fitter / Machinist with a production / FMCG experience
TIG welding ability essential
Must have strong machining skills
Complete plant maintenance and upgrades
Respond to machinery breakdowns efficiently
Component design and construction
A focus on continuous improvement
Refrigeration knowledge advantageous
A safe, driven, can-do attitude person who is a team player
Current drivers’ licence
