We are a reputable painting company looking for an administrative assistant to join our team. An ongoing, permanent role exists. 20 hours per week and may increase from there. This position could be a fulltime role for the right candidate.

Previous admin in the construction field is a huge bonus but not necessary.

Duties will include

  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Process wages
  • Reconcile transactions and statements in Xero
  • BAS
  • Project tracking/ PNL and KPI reports
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Work autonomously and be able to manage workload without micromanagement
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Social Media management with the possibility of training in photography/video editing for content.

Preferred Experience:

  • Recent and practical experience using latest Xero and Excel
  • Similar experience in previous roles with small – med sized business
  • Quoting experience an advantage, but training will be provided on site
