JOB DESCRIPTION

Fly-In-Fly-Out Electrician roles on remote camp sites in South Australia, CANDIDATES MUST BE ADELAIDE BASED

Your new company
Our client is a well-respected organisation that facilitates quality maintenance work on remote camp sites in South Australia. With some gaps in our upcoming rosters there is an opportunity to join our casual pool of A Class Electricians (South Australian Licensed). These roles would suit Electricians living in Adelaide who have their own businesses but are looking to supplement their current workload.

Your new role
The role we see you providing maintenance support across remote campsites and will require highly skilled and fully qualified South Australian licenced A Class Electricians. You will be confident across fault finding and inspections, with a mixture of domestic and commercial electrical maintenance work involved.

What you'll need to succeed
Successful applicants must have a current South Australian A class electrical licence, white card and be MUST be based in South Australia (being based in close proximity to Adelaide airport would be highly advantageous). This role will see you working away from home on a mixture of 7 day and 14 day swings.

Due to the nature of this work being casual the roles may therefore suit a qualified electrician who is SELF EMPLOYED and looking to add to their own workload. The period of prior notice given before you fly to site for work can vary from 48 hours to one week.

It will be highly advantageous if you have a current police check (dated within the last 6 months). Shortlisted applicants will be required to meet employment criteria that include but not limited to a full pre-employment medical with a drug and alcohol test, you will also have to complete online inductions before you can fly to a remote site.

All accommodation food and flights to and from site are paid for but candidates will have to provide their own hand tools on site as well as steel toe cap boots.
