Description

Our Construction & Engineering practice is recognised as one of the leading teams in Australia. Demand on our services has created an opportunity for a front end Construction Senior Associate to join the Sydney team. Working across a range of large domestic and international projects this is a unique opportunity to pursue an area of construction law that presents exciting potential for career advancement and significant development opportunities.

The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows;

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients, including developer, lender, contractor and government clients on a range of front end matters and large scale projects
  • Advise on and draft a range of project documentation including concession agreements/project deeds, EPC/construction contracts, operation and maintenance/facilities management agreements, interface agreements, consultancy agreements, supply and offtake agreements, long term services agreements, lenders' direct agreements etc.
  • Manage renewable energy projects
  • Liaise with clients and assist in negotiations
  • Assist with business development and marketing initiatives
Requirements
  • 5+ years PQE gained within a construction or projects practice
  • Strong client liaison skills
  • Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
  • Strong time management & organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously
