About the role:

Autospark is one of the largest auto electrical operators in Western Australia with over 30 years’ experience. We offer a range of services such as computer diagnosis, car battery and dual battery installation, alternator repair and starter motor repairs, immobiliser installations and more.

Our Osborne Park branch is seeking a 1st to 4th Year Automotive Electrical Apprentice to join our team! Apprentices between their 1st to 2nd Year are highly encouraged to apply.

About you:

  • Have started your Auto Electrical Apprenticeship
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in the trade and basic prior knowledge
  • Committed to the completion of your Apprenticeship
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Safety Conscious
  • Must show initiative
  • Punctual, reliable and passionate
  • Customer focus with a strong ability to build relationships
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent attitude, work ethic and communication skills
  • Hold a valid full Australian driver’s license
  • Excellent grammar and general written communication skills

Requirements:

  • Driver licence and reliable vehicle

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Using electronic diagnostic equipment to diagnose electrical issues within a vehicle
  • Undertaking electrical repairs on various vehicles
  • Installing interior electrical systems
  • Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety procedures
  • Identifying and repairing faults on electronically controlled vehicle systems such as electronic fuel injection, electronic ignition, anti-lock braking, cruise control, automatic transmission, airbags and air conditioning
  • Operating hand And Power Tools
