JOB DESCRIPTION

Programmed is currently looking for experienced Forklift operators to work in a fast paced Production role.


Due to the nature of some aspects of the work all applicants must be physically fit and be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol test. Whilst the main role is to operate a forklift, you will also be involved in general hand work.


It is desirable that applicants have some knowledge of factory/processing work and be experienced in the operation of machinery.


Your day to day responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:


  • Receive, check and store materials
  • Move raw materials and finished goods to processing or dispatch areas of factories
  • Make sure goods are stored in the correct area of the site so they may be located easily
  • Load transport vehicles, making sure loads are evenly and securely placed
  • Keep a record of daily operations


To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following:


  • Current High-Risk Forklift Licence with 3 years experience
  • Machine operation experience (desirable)
  • Safe manual handling techniques
  • A strong understanding of quality control standards
  • Ability to work shift work on different rotations as the business demands
